For NRIs and OCIs

Buying in the Tricity from abroad, without the guesswork

Buying from another time zone adds friction: you can't drop in for a site visit, documents need to travel, and payment rules under FEMA apply. We act as your on-ground eyes and coordinator, with everything in writing.

This is for you if…

  • You live abroad and want to buy a home or investment property in the Tricity
  • You want live video walkthroughs and written summaries before deciding
  • You need coordination with your lawyer, CA and family members in India

How we help

  1. 01

    Call at your convenience

We schedule around your time zone and understand your requirement and purpose.

  2. 02

    Verified shortlist & video visits

Live walkthroughs of the actual project and unit, plus RERA and approval checks.

  3. 03

    Payment & documentation pointers

We explain the general FEMA framework and coordinate with your CA/bank, who must confirm the specifics.

  4. 04

    Power of attorney & registration

Coordination with your lawyer for POA, agreement and registration if you can't travel.

  5. 05

    After purchase

Possession, leasing coordination and, later, resale support.

What we don't do

  • We are not tax advisers or lawyers: FEMA, tax (including TDS) and repatriation questions must be confirmed with a qualified CA and your bank.
  • Agricultural land, plantation property and farmhouses cannot be purchased by NRIs/OCIs under FEMA rules.

Common questions

Can NRIs buy residential and commercial property in India?

Under FEMA, NRIs and OCIs can generally acquire residential and commercial immovable property in India, but not agricultural land, plantation property or farmhouses. Confirm specifics with your CA and bank.

How are payments made?

Payments generally must come through normal banking channels (inward remittance or NRE/NRO/FCNR accounts), not in foreign currency cash or traveller's cheques. Your bank will confirm the process.
